GO2 for Lung Cancer’s Voices Summit is the largest annual meeting that brings together people with lung cancer, caregivers, medical professionals, and supporters for education, training, connection, and direct advocacy with the federal government, the largest funder of cancer research.
Our passionate advocates help lawmakers understand the importance of increasing lung cancer research funding to accelerate progress and understand how policies – good and bad – impact our community’s ability to access affordable, high-quality healthcare.

Our advocacy priorities
- Make lung cancer research a top funding priority with increases in the annual appropriations for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).
- Support cancer research at the National Institute of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), and the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
- Make women and lung cancer legislation a top policy priority to pass this year.
- Support early detection tools and cancer screening coverage legislation that will improve lung cancer survivorship.
