The past year was a challenge for so many, especially those impacted by lung cancer. Now more than ever, it’s important to prioritize YOU and your health and well-being. Going into 2022, here are four worthy commitments to consider.

FIND SUPPORT

Support in your lung cancer journey is beneficial whether you’re a twenty-year survivor, newly diagnosed, or caring for a loved one. Explore the many new ways you can connect with survivors and caregivers across the country on a monthly basis through our new, three-part Living Room series. Looking for one-on-one connection? Check out our Phone Buddy program that matches those living with lung cancer with others who have gone through similar situations.

GET SCREENED

Make health a priority! Talk to your doctor about your risk for lung cancer to see if a low-dose CT scan makes sense for you. Currently, a low-dose CT scan is the only proven method to detect lung cancer at an early and treatable stage. Take it a step further by encouraging a loved one to do the same.

KNOW YOUR OPTIONS

It’s an exciting time for our community with so many treatment options available, however, this can be overwhelming when deciding which path is best for you. Our LungMATCH program helps you feel empowered and educated so that you, along with your treatment team, can find the best treatment option for your unique lung cancer diagnosis. To get started, call us at 1-800-298-2436 today!

GIVE BACK

Make a BIG difference in the lives of those touched by lung cancer. Whether you make a one-time donation, start a fundraiser, or contribute over time by joining our Monthly Giving Club, your generosity will help save lives and strengthen our community.

It’s a new year, but our commitment to providing the best possible support for people impacted by lung cancer remains the same. If you have questions about lung cancer or what you are going through, we’re here for you. Contact our HelpLine at support@go2.org or 1-800-298-2436.
