Find empowerment through education, all while connecting with others in the lung cancer community.

There is no better time than now to meet with us (virtually) in the Living Room!

A few months ago, we introduced our new three-part Living Room series consisting of our monthly Lung Cancer Living Room, monthly Gathering HOPE Community Social Hour, and Special Edition Living Room, held occasionally throughout the year.

This December is the first month where you can join us at all three types of Living Room events from the comfort and safety of your own home. This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know each part of the Living Room series, as well as to engage with others in the lung cancer community and learn about lung cancer and its treatments from top experts in the field. These events are appropriate for anyone with a connection to lung cancer, including people who have received a lung cancer diagnosis, caregivers, loved ones, and anyone simply wanting to learn more.

Up first this month is the Lung Cancer Living Room Special Edition: “COVID-19 Vaccine & Boosters, Where Are We Now?”. Join us on Friday, December 10th at 9 am PT/12 pm ET as our expert panel shares everything the lung cancer community needs to know about COVID-19, including information on the Delta and Omicron variants, vaccines and boosters, and specific recommendations for lung cancer patients. Join us on YouTube Live or Facebook Live.

On Tuesday, December 14th , there are two Living Room events to tune in to. At 5 pm PT/8 pm ET, mingle with other lung cancer patients, caregivers, and family members during the Gathering HOPE Community Social Hour, a casual and connective networking event where attendees will chat with others in the community in an informal and fun virtual environment. Please join us via the Gatherly platform for this event.

Immediately following Gathering HOPE, at 5:30 pm PT/8:30 pm ET, head over to YouTube Live or Facebook Live for the Monthly Lung Cancer Living Room: Advancements in Small Cell Lung Cancer. Dr. Charles Rudin from Memorial Sloan Kettering, and GO2 for Lung Cancer’s own Jennifer C. King, PhD, will discuss recent advancements and ongoing research in diagnosis and treatment for people with small cell lung cancer, an important discussion for all members of the lung cancer community.

We encourage you to participate in all three December Living Room events to engage with this supportive and active community. Please also join our Living Room community to stay in touch about future Living Room events, as well as other programs and services relevant to people living with lung cancer.
