GO2 for Lung Cancer is excited to announce that after airing our Lung Cancer Living Room monthly events only online for the past three years, we will be returning to in-person Living Room events from our San Carlos office beginning with April’s Living Room on Tuesday, April 18th. We cannot wait to see you in person after 37 months apart!

It has been so long since we’ve gathered together, some of our newer, loyal Living Room watchers may not even realize that the Living Room used to meet in person every month. People who lived near or were traveling to GO2’s offices in San Carlos, California would come together on the third Tuesday of every month to meet as a community in our comfortable and homey living room space. Attendees heard from thought leaders from around the country who shared the latest information on a variety of lung cancer topics. People who were not near San Carlos watched the speaker’s conversation with Chief Patient Officer Danielle Hicks, and GO2 for Lung Cancer co-founder Bonnie Addario from their homes.

When COVID-19 hit in March 2020, the Living Room went fully virtual but otherwise didn’t miss a beat, continuing to educate and connect the lung cancer community every month. And while we’re very proud of the Living Room events that we produced during the pandemic, we missed you!

What does this mean for Living Room viewers?

  • For people who live near San Carlos or who would like travel to the area

Please join us from 5pm – 7pm PT on the third Tuesday of every month, beginning on April 18, at the GO2 offices located at 1100 Industrial Rd. #1, San Carlos, CA 94070. The Living Room programming will begin at 5:30pm PT.

To best protect our event attendees against COVID-19 and other illnesses, all (100%) GO2 for Lung Cancer staff are vaccinated for COVID-19 and will wear masks during the Living Room, except for speakers and hosts. We urge anyone who is feeling unwell or who has tested positive for COVID-19 to watch the Living Room from home until they are feeling better. Our COVID-19 safety protocols may be updated as new information becomes available or if local restrictions change.

  • For people who want to watch from home

Your experience will not change! GO2 will continue to stream the Living Room on our YouTube channel for anyone who would like to watch from home. Streaming will begin at 5:30pm PT.

April’s Living Room will be a conversation about precision medicine, targeted therapies and immunotherapy with Dr. Joel W. Neal, associate professor of medicine, division of oncology at Stanford Cancer Institute and medical director for the cancer clinical trials office.
