Today, a Senate Resolution was introduced as the companion to the House Resolution (H. Res.1192), supporting the goals of Lung Cancer Awareness Month (LCAM) and the early detection of lung cancer.

TAKE ACTION!

The Resolution will support LCAM goals to:

  • Designate November 2020 as the National Lung Cancer Awareness Month
  • Expand awareness of early detection and treatment for lung cancer in both men and women
  • Educate individuals, especially those who are high risk, on the importance of early screening to save lives
  • Build support for the urgent need for increased lung cancer research
  • Encourage all Americans to observe National Lung Cancer Awareness Month
