GO2 for Lung Cancer is asking our community to nominate caregivers who go above and beyond to care for a loved one living with lung cancer.
We know that caregivers play a vital role in the lives of those diagnosed with lung cancer, working behind the scenes to provide essential care and support every step—from diagnosis to treatment and survivorship.
We also know that caregivers don’t always get the recognition that they deserve for the important role they play in the lives of people with lung cancer. By nominating your caregiver or a caregiver you admire for GO2’s Caregiver Award for Excellence in Improving Quality of Life, you can publicly thank them for the incredible support they give. Honorees will be recognized at GO2’s 19th Annual Simply the Best Dinner & Gala in San Francisco on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024.
Our 2023 Caregiver Award winner
Last year, GO2 honored Sven de Jong, caregiver to Elizabeth de Jong, who was diagnosed in 2016 at age 47 with stage 4 (IV) non-small cell lung cancer.
