We are pleased to support the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) new community-based initiative, National Black Family Cancer Awareness Week (NBFCAW). With the purpose of increasing cancer awareness in one of the most vulnerable segments of the U.S. population, the FDA has asked us and other community-based stakeholders to amplify the message that Black families are among the most vulnerable and hardest hit for cancer risk, diagnoses, and poor outcomes.
