GO2 for Lung Cancer is excited to expand its Spanish-language offerings, and we need your help!  

If you have been diagnosed with lung cancer, or are a caregiver for someone with the disease, and are frustrated by the lack of lung cancer resources in Spanish, we want to hear from you. 

“Nuestra Gente” is GO2’s new health education initiative designed to provide relevant and culturally significant information about lung cancer to Hispanic/Latinx communities in the United States. 

GO2 is interested in your feedback on our lung cancer education materials so that we can better serve the needs of Spanish-speaking communities living with or at risk for lung cancer. In addition to sharing your valuable ideas with GO2, we’ll connect you with a Spanish-speaking lung cancer navigator to answer any questions you might have about your diagnosis.  

Nuestra Gente’s coordinator, Renee Botello, MSc, is excited to offer Spanish language resources that the community deeply needs. “As a native Spanish speaker, I am proud to expand Spanish support for lung cancer patients and help educate and empower my community to better understand their diagnosis and treatment options. These materials will be a step towards improving equitable access to care for Hispanic/Latinx patients.”

GO2 Contra el Cáncer de pulmón esta emocionado por expandir sus recursos en español y necesitamos su ayuda!

“Nuestra Gente” es una nueva iniciativa de salud creado por GO2, cuyo enfoque es ofrecer servicios educativos sobre el cáncer de pulmón que son relevantes y culturalmente significante para la comunidad Hispano/LatinX afectada por el diagnostico en los Estados Unidos.

GO2 está muy interesado en su aporte sobre los recursos creados para poder servir mejor las necesidades de la comunidad Hispano/LatinX y aquellos afectados por el cáncer de. Aparte de contribuir a sus ideas con GO2, usted puede ponerse en contacto con un navegador de cáncer de pulmón bilingüe con quien puede hablar y/o preguntar sobre su diagnóstico.

La coordinadora de Nuestra Gente, Renee Botello, esta emocionada orgullosa por poder ofrecer estos recursos en español a aquellos que tanto los necesitan. “Como un miembro de la comunidad Hispano/LatinX, estoy orgullosa de poder proveer y expandir los recursos de apoyo contra el cáncer de pulmón a los pacientes y aquellos afectados por el diagnostico. Este programa ayudara a educar y abogar a los miembros de mi comunidad para que ellos puedan entender mejor su diagnóstico y sus opciones en cuanto al tratamiento. Estos materiales educativos son un paso hacia la mejora en la igualdad de acceso de salud para los pacientes Hispano/LatinX.”
