When Navy Veteran Donnita B. was first screened for lung cancer about 7 years ago, nothing was found. Then, life got in the way – COVID and the arrival of two beloved grandchildren – and she didn’t get screened again for a few years.
About 5 years later, Donnita got her 2nd Low Dose CT scan and discovered that she had lung cancer. She was lucky to be diagnosed at stage 1A (IA). Her gratitude has motivated her to advocate for more funding for lung cancer research and to encourage people to get screened if they are eligible.
Hear more from Donnita about how connecting with GO2 has helped to educate and empower her to connect with a wide community of people who understand exactly what she’s been through.
