Shine a Light on Lung Cancer® is the largest lung cancer awareness program in the world. Hosted by healthcare facilities during Lung Cancer Awareness Month in November, Shine a Light on Lung Cancer® educates, connects, and celebrates the lung cancer community while raising global awareness about the disease.
There are many ways Shine a Light events can be held in your community, including:
- An in-person event with healthcare providers and lung cancer patients providing remarks
- A virtual event via Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Zoom, or another video source
- An educational table display(s) with your materials and GO2 resources and giveaways
- Any combination of the above!
This November, we encourage you to participate in an event in your area. Your participation not only raises awareness but allows you to connect with others impacted by lung cancer. Find an event near you!
