GO2 for Lung Cancer welcomes the global community to Shine a Light on Lung Cancer® in November.
Hosted by healthcare facilities and community partners during Lung Cancer Awareness Month in November, Shine a Light on Lung Cancer educates, connects, and celebrates the lung cancer community while raising global awareness about the disease. It is the largest healthcare and community lung cancer awareness program in the world.
There are many ways Shine a Light events can be held in your community, including:
- An in-person event with healthcare providers and lung cancer patients providing remarks
- A virtual event via Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Zoom, or another video source
- An educational table display(s) with your materials and GO2 resources and giveaways
- Any combination of the above!
